Louise Jackson - winner of a night’s stay at The Standard
We ate moules frites, followed by chocolate brownies with ice cream for dessert. The room was beautiful. The view was incredible and considering where it was, it was so peaceful.
My room had an enormous bath which I obviously made use of after I had nipped to Coal Drops Yard to look around the shops.
The women I met at dinner made it such a memorable night as we didn’t stop talking from the moment we met. They were all so lovely, and working on such incredible projects.
Ronke Oke BEM - runner up and winner of a free dinner at The Standard
Having been in lockdown for so long, The Stack private dinner was the first networking event I had attended in over 18 months. It was so refreshing (and much needed) to be out connecting with other female business owners, who are each doing amazing things in their respective sectors. Great connections were made by our small group of four with discussions of potentially working together, so thank you to Sharmadean and the rest of The Stack crew for making it happen. And to anyone yet to sign up to the incredible Stack World, what are you actually waiting for? Do it.
Lava Cap UK - runner up and winner of a free dinner at The Standard
So in case it wasn't obvious, The Stack World really knows how to choose great locations for member events!
The Standard has a cool vibe, great music and intriguing decor like the library‐book‐filled shelves, open fireplaces or various terraces and comfy, colourful seating areas to chill in which added to the amazing ambience for the evening. It was lovely to meet other members, and I have no doubt the location contributed to us all instantly clicking. It's always great to hear candid tales about business journeys and feel inspired by individual approaches and unique experiences - so all in all an energising and motivating evening with impressive women, tasty food (I had the burger option with thin cut fries) and cool music.
